Right before your day gets crazy, begin by slowing down, breathing, and calming your mind. What a wonderful way to lead into this hectic holiday season! In this 75 minute class, we will move slowly in the warmth of the room, ending with an extra long savasana. This class will be challenging yet sweet and will offer modifications and embellishments for any experience level.

Please note that the evening classes will be canceled on this day and that there are no classes on December 25th.

New Year’s Eve Powerful Flow

Planning on a late night? Let’s get some energy flowing in the morning that will last you through the day! In this Powerful Flow class, we will utilize movement, not the thermostat, to heat the body. We will move and flow into many strength-based poses, ending in some deep stretches, and a relaxing savasana. While the class may be challenging, options are given and encouraged. Every time you practice, it is YOURS!

New Year’s Day Hot Slow Flow

Ring in the New Year, set your intentions, and sweat out the last of the holiday indulgences. In this class you will not only heat up because of the room temp, but by utilizing your muscles, and not momentum, in this super-slow, but challenging practice. Slow doesn’t always mean easy, but it is definitely sweet!

Beginner Series
Mondays: January 7, 14, 28, and February 4, 2019. 6:00pm-7:00pm.

All Are Welcome for this beginner yoga series!  In this workshop series, we will "break it down".  We realize yoga can seem intimidating, so if you are curious about yoga and all of the benefits you have heard about, then this series is for you!!!  It will include yoga terminology, poses, and an introduction to breathing exercises or "pranayama” in yoga, as well as an introduction to the various styles of yoga, so you can determine which is the best suited for you!  There are no prerequisites for this series, so you don't have to be flexible or in a certain "body shape" to be a part of this series. Come as you are, wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in, and bring an open mind.

*Cancellation policy: We understand that things come up and lives are busy! For workshops taught by Unwind Yoga Studio staff, a refund will be given only to workshops canceled 48 hours in advance. For workshops taught by guest teachers or other professionals, alone or in conjunction with Unwind Yoga Studio staff, a cancellation one week prior to the workshop or event is required to receive a refund. Workshops can be transferred to another eligible person through the day of the event unless otherwise stated. Specific rules for cancellation and refunds on teacher trainings can be found on the teacher training application that must be signed prior to enrollment.
